I haven't been away from home that long, just four short months, but I CANNOT wait to be home for Christmas. I don't get to be home for very long, but all the same.. I do get to be home. I can't imagine not being with my family on Christmas day. I am counting down the days until I get to head up to the good ol' Valley. Luckily.. there are only two short days left! I am so excited to finally meet my newest nephew Austin, and to spend time with my sisters and parents. That's the best gift at Christmas. Family.
Also, as Christmas draws nearer... I find myself constantly thinking about my Savior. I love him so much. He is my older brother. He died for ME. Specifically for ME. I have read and reread the story of his birth and am filled with so much gratitude and love every time I read the story. I attended a family ward last week, (that I don't belong to and my Brother and sister don't belong to) and they had the best lesson in their Sunday School class. The spirit was so strong as the teacher discussed Christ's birth and told us the importance of remembering the true meaning of Christmas. So, this year, my thoughts have been with my Savior. Rather than wondering what gifts i'll be receiving this year from friends and family, I try and remember the gifts my Savior has already given me.
Christmas time is a time of joy, family, and fun. But it is also a time of remembrance. So, this Christmas, I hope each of you take the time to remember your Savior and all he has done for you!
Merry Christmas!

Home Away from Home
It's been a crazy few months. I have gone from living with my Grandma to living with my brother Bryan, his wife Emily, and their baby Luke. Well, Luke is not exactly a baby anymore.
I love living with this cute little family. The best thing in the world is to come home after a long day of work and have Luke waiting by the door saying: Annie! Annie! Annie! It melts my heart every time. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be able to call their home my home away from home.
It's been a great experience living here in Spanish Fork, UT. I work at Hearthstone manor as a CNA and I love my job. It definitely has it's ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I also have had the opportunity to get to know some pretty amazing people down here. I have made great new friends.
I am planning to attend college this spring at UVU, but I am starting an institute class in January. I am planning on getting a car at the end of this month. My very first and very own car. Pretty dang exciting huh?
I also can't believe that 2009 is coming to an end! This year has been a crazy one for my family and I can't help but be grateful for the experiences this year has provided.

And The Verdict Is.....
I am officially a UVU Wolverine!!! Ha. Crazy! I know. I have finally made my decision pertaining to school... I move down to Lake Shore with my Grandma this weekend (hopefully, she has some things she needs to get done before I invade on her freedom!!!) and am going to try and find a CNA job down there. This is sooooooo scary! I can't believe I'm leaving the safety and security of home. There are so many people and things I'm going to miss about the Valley. But I'll be back to visit... probably not very often... but I'll be back. I am so nervous. This is a huge step, but I think it is a good nervous. My life as an adult is about to begin! And it's so nice of my grandma to let me move in! I love her and thank her a thousand times!!!!

Last Day of Vacation...
So today is it. The final day of paradise. No more waking up to whales every morning or watching the sun set over the ocean. It's been perfect. I love it here. I'll be sad to leave it all behind, but at the same time I'll be glad to get back home. But home means dealing with everyday life. Great. Ha. Oh well. I knew I would have to return to if eventually. I can't wait to put my pictures of Oregon on here!!!!! I also can't wait to go home because me and Halee Kaye are going to the ZOO!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! I love the ZOO!!!! But, as this vacation comes to an end, I find myself once again appreciating the world around me. It is so beautiful.

The ocean... Whales....and Sea Lions....
So I am very ready to see some sea life! I've seen Whales and Sea Lions and a lot of Seagulls... but I want to see Dolphins and Star Fish and every other sea creature! If it means I need to go to a dang aquarium then so be it! Ha. Don't get me wrong, I love the whales and sea lions...but still... oh well. My dad, Nathan, and Bryan went deep sea fishing and caught some delicious sea bass. Blech. Fish are nasty.
P.S.... I'll have to put all the pictures of this fabulous trip on here when I get home..... I've gotten a lot... and a lot of ... you guessed it .... ME!!! ha. And I'm not bored... Shoot! I'm vain! No!!! okay. No more pictures of me. Ha.....

Oregon!
So, even though the drive was a pain... We finally made it to Oregon. It is beautiful. Our condo is right on the beach and we've seen whale after whale! It's really cool. It's so much fun to be here with my family! Even though some members aren't here with us, it's been a blast so far. There is nothing like getting away from it all, but getting away from it all is so much better when it is with your family. Nathan and Spring are here with us and it's been fun to see them since they live far away. I love them! And Luke! Oh my Lukers! He is so dang cute and is a joy. He has made this vaca even more of a blast! It just amazes me how gorgeous this world is. There is so much to be grateful for and so much that I take for granted every day. Being here in Oregon has made me all the more grateful for the world we live in. I feel so blessed.

Pictures.... of... ME!!! and others....
Alright. So I get really bored and so I take a lot of random pictures. And then, I get even more bored and put them all on here and write lame captions underneath. I know. You don't need to tell me. I could really use a life.
Carlee Morse and I... ya. I know. Sexy.
And unfortunately most of the pictures I take end up looking like the one above....
